My Girls!
Yappy is the little one. She's a rescue from the SPCA. I accidently "fell" into her in 2017 I believe. A close friend of mine got her for her very elderly mother. Sadly soon after her mother took a turn for the worst and needed constant care. So I was asked to foster her. Personally I've never been a big fan of little dogs. Mostly because they yap and bark a lot. Which was what I told my friend. She insisted she hadn't hear a peep out of this dog since they got her a few weeks prior. So I agreed to give it a shot. Karmen brought her over and the moment we put her in my backyard she started zooming around the yard barking at everything, LOL! So, I named her "Yappy". Honestly though, she hardly ever barks unless she has a valid reason. And she is just the sweetest thing ever. Unfortunately my friends mother never recovered. So, Yappy became my forever dog and I became her forever mama, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
Agape is the bigger one. She is 75% German Shephard and 25% Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I named her "Agape Love". Agape love is the purest form of love there is. I first heard the name from an old neighbor of mine over 10 years ago. Her father was a preacher and she explained to me that agape love is the type of love in the Bible used to describe Gods love, the purest form of love there is. Agape is a COVID baby so she is still learning how to behave around lots of people and other dogs. She's the sweetest thing ever! There's not an aggressive bone in her body.......that is of course, unless you try to hurt someone she loves.
